Uh, huh. 'Nother one. And a novice again. This time staring off into the distance (maybe that's meditating) along the river bank at Tonle Sap. The shot makes the area seem quite
picturesque. That's because you can't see the piles of garbage, some of it burning, just to the right of the monk.
So, first wat I visited in Cambodia (Angkor Thom) got me all excited. Especially when I ran across this Buddhist nun tending her altar. Very friendly and accomodating, great character, lovely face. Took the shot and then she nicely
pantomined the need for me to tip her (or maybe make a monetary offering). Glad to 'cuz I got the shot of the century. Ha! Felt quite proud of myself until about 20 minutes later I ran across nun #2. Then #3 . . . and on and on.

See, I did take pictures other then monks and Buddhists! This is some rubble at Angkor Wat. My kinda shot, and it made all the Japanese touri stop and look to see what they were suppose to be taking pictures of. If you're feeling a bit let down with these shots (meaning you were
looking for a bit more touri-related type pix) move on to the next Rambles page and check out the photos linked there,
