You could spend days just watching the locals of Siem Reap transport their cargo on bikes (or enire families, for that matter). I guess pork is a major food in Cambodia as it is quite common to see freshly slaughtered pigs being driven down the road like these.
First trip to Thailand the idea of getting to ride on an elephant was soooooo cool. Did it. And guess what? You can also ride them in every other SE Asia country wherever touri flock. So much for the novel experience. This herd is parked across the road from Angkor Thom. See the wat, ride the elephant. Didn’t seem to be many takers, though everyone, like me, stopped to take a shot anyway.
This is why you should always carry your camera with you when travelling. Unexpected cool shot, in this case on one of the side streets in Siem Reap. I assume mom or dad was near - not that I saw anyone else paying attention to this kid. But then ya never know . . .
