Yep, more monk shots! I took this one at the wat on top of Doi Suthep (hint, don't climb the steps, take the elevator and then walk back down!) Lots of hustle and bustle, but there was a bit of tranquility off to a corner where this novice monk was hard at work sweeping up after the touri.

Monks on baht Bus

A common mode of transportation in Chiang Mai is the baht bus (usually costs 20 baht for a ride around town). I took this shot while sitting on the patio at the Montri Hotel . . . lucked out and got numerous monks in one photo!

So when I'm not taking pix of monks, I take 'em of bars. No, not really. This one caught my eye though because it was closed. Not a sight you see often in Chiang Mai where there is always some already drunk touri looking for another watering hole.

And back to the monk shots! This wat had a buddha that changed expressions on his face as the lighting changed. Ooooooo! Ok, the locals were impressed at least.
