Hong Kong At Night

Branch Earth Trading Company

Hong Kong at night. Bustling, noisy and filled with lights. Tried to capture that feeling with this shot near the Wan Chai area. Turned out to be the best bus picture I’ve taken (in my opinion!)

Street Side Cooking

I love the street side food vendors in Asia. Well, let me clarify that . . . I like the look, but am a bit more circumspect about eating the food. My rule for eating is I have to be able to identify the foodstuff and it has to be freshly cooked. Or I have to be really drunk. The rule for photography is easier, see one, take the shot!

Red Lantern

Red paper Chinese lantern. You see them all over Hong Kong, so a photograph was necessary. Did I buy one as a souvenir? Nope. Already have one made in Viet Nam and bought in Thailand.

Repulse Bay

This is a shot of Repulse Bay just outside of Hong Kong. Its probably the most well known area where the local Chinese live on boats. Worth paying for a boat ride through the bay and seeing how these folk live. There’s also a bunch of floating restaurants, but they are a bit overpriced; you can get the same food, better prepared, back in Hong Kong.
