I guess it was a toss up, I’m in Kota Kinabalu and I either take the obligatory photo of Kinabalu from the plane, or get the T shirt. T shirts in Asia never fit (too small, even the XXL) so the photograph won. Better than hiking up the sucker for a shot, though!

Quick Trip To the Mosque

This is the mosque Magjid Bandaraya in Kota Kinabalu. Had I more time in KK (not that I wanted more time) I’d have visited the mosque for some shots. Instead, I snapped this one whizzing by in the taxi.

Fish For Sale

This family is selling the fish they caught this morning. Wasn’t at either of the markets I’d visited in KK, but rather along the shoreline to the far side of the Filipino market. The racket they put up as I walked by would make you believe that I, a touri, would actually be a potential customer. Bought the kids some cokes instead.

Water Walking

There is a water village outside of Kota Kinabalu, on the way to the airport. Didn’t have the time for a visit, but then considering the quality of the water these guys are wading through, I don’t know how picturesque it really would have been anyway. This shot is from near the village, just off the roadway.
