This is the Ewa Tower of Kukui Plaza in Downtown Honolulu. 32 stories, one of 2 towers along with a five floor parking structure with a 4 acre garden deck replete with waterfalls, ponds, and a swimming pool built on top. I managed this property from 1991 to 1998.

A well known condo, when it was built in the mid 70's whole bunches of people got into legal hot water from taking kickbacks and other assorted crimes. Even indited the mayor. Mark Chapman, the guy who shot Lennon, lived there at one time as did a serial killer in Oregon and California. But that was before my time.

During my tenure we only had a large weapons bust (the guy even had claymores in his apartment) and a drug gang murder in the garage which was quite spectacular: the truck that was shot at hit a car and they both flew off the side of the third floor of the garage hitting a bus on the street.

Then there was the fun when HPD chased all the whores off Hotel Street and they chose the street at the back of the condo for their new home. Ah, the good old days!
