Macau Colonial Architecture

Branch Earth Trading Company

From what I could tell from the bus (thanks, Ann) a good deal of the architecture in Macau has a colonial look to it. (Macau was a Portuguese protectorate until recently much as Hong Kong was English). This shot is near St. Pauls, not that we got to actually see St. Pauls. (Thanks, Ann)

Morning Break

Yep, rickshaw rides are available in Macau, too. I don’t think these guys make a lot of money at this because I seem to take the ‘rickshaw driver at rest’ shot frequently and never have a problem finding one lazing about.

Macau Transportation

Bikes are a major form of transport for people throughout Asia, and Macau is no different. This one either belongs to the local butane dealer or to the Macau version of a suicide bomber.

Lisboa Casino

The Lisboa Casino at night. Was the only official Macau sight I got to experience (thanks, Ann). Think I’m still upset with her on this one??? I’ve been back to Hong Kong since, but have never taken the hydro ride over to Macau again. Guess I really should so I can finally put that wasted trip behind me. Nah, I like my anger, better.
