They say a picture is worth a thousand words. And this one says, "STUPID!" Yep, yours truely up close and personal with a tiger at Tiger Kingdom in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Not sure if this is the tiger who bit the Kiwi touri a week later. You are suppose to get wiser with age, but I remember taking a similar shot of my friend Dave on a visit to a zoo in Bangkok some twenty years ago and thinking what a fool he was at the time.

I limited my outreach program to tigers who looked sleepy (and rubbed their tummies to keep them contentedly snoozing) while Noom went for the full on face to face approach.

Tigers, tigers, everywhere. Ya gotta admit, just being able to take some photos without wire cage lines messing up the shot is almost reason enough to get into the cage with these guys.
